Eastbourne sits squarely in our East Sussex coverage area for roof lanterns — which means fast made-to-measure quotes, kerbside delivery for trade and DIY orders, and installation slots with our own teams.
Free, no-obligation quotes · response within 1 working hour · supply-only or fully installed
Around Eastbourne and the wider county, housing stock runs to Regency terraces, Victorian villas and coastal stock — solar-control glazing is the standard spec on south-facing roofs. We've specified and supplied for exactly these property types across East Sussex, so recommendations come from real local precedent.
Every lantern is thermally broken aluminium as standard, glazed with 28mm argon-filled units, and available with self-clean and solar-control coatings. Supply-only orders include kerb specifications and fitting documentation; installed projects carry our written workmanship guarantee on top of the 10-year product cover.
Eastbourne, Hove, Hastings and Bexhill-on-Sea and the rest of East Sussex all sit inside standard coverage: free surveys, free quotes, and a response within 1 working hour.

Supply-only prices depend on size and glass specification — our online price list covers the standard sizes, and made-to-measure quotes usually come back the same day. Installed prices add the fitting, flashing and making good, and vary with roof access and upstand condition, so we confirm those on a free survey.
A 150mm minimum upstand is the standard requirement. It lifts the lantern clear of standing water on the flat roof and gives the flashing somewhere to dress. If your upstand isn't built yet, we'll supply the exact external kerb dimensions so your builder can form it ready for the lantern.
A correctly installed modern lantern shouldn't leak. Failures almost always trace back to the upstand or flashing rather than the lantern itself, which is why our installation teams dress and seal the junction as part of every fit, and why supply-only orders ship with full fitting instructions.
Yes — thermally broken frames and argon-filled units mean a modern lantern performs far better than the polycarbonate roofs people remember. With a solar-control upgrade the room stays comfortable in summer too.
